Job summary

Kroger in Colorado, Castle Rock, is seeking a Pharmacy Certified Technician Senior to support pharmacists, train junior staff, and ensure accurate dispensing and patient safety. You’ll participate in immunizations where allowed, manage inventory, and uphold HIPAA and safety standards in a fast-paced store setting.

You will lead a high-performing pharmacy team, coordinate scheduling, and communicate effectively with leaders and peers while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of Pharmacy Certified Technician experience within Kroger.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Professional, dependable with positive attitude and good judgment.
• Self-motivated with ability to organize, prioritize, plan and meet deadlines.
• Proven attention to detail and stellar customer service skills.
• Excellent communication with leaders and peers.
• Completion of state/national registration or license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring pharmacist judgment.
• Provide stellar customer experience while completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Train and mentor new hire technicians.
• Lead store-wide meetings/huddles and manage hourly staff scheduling.
• Oversee inventory management including orders, returns, and physical inventory prep.
• Administer immunizations where applicable by state law.
• Ensure sanitation and safety regulations are followed.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and protect patient information.
