Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers with a smile.
• Answer the telephone promptly and assist callers, including taking refill orders.
• Gather patient information required to prepare prescriptions.
• Stock received products and supplies and keep pharmacy stocked.
• Review prescriptions not picked up and communicate with the department manager.
• Process invoices and complete cash transactions accurately.
• Prepare paperwork and assemble medicines for delivery orders and mail-outs.
• Coordinate nursing home medications as necessary.
• Administer vaccines where certified within legal scope.
• Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment and protect patient privacy.
