Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support the pharmacy by maintaining supplies, handling billing and filing, and assisting the pharmacist on duty.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Assistant license from the Washington State Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum one year of previous work experience in a retail pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Count, pour and label prescriptions as designated by the pharmacist on duty.
• Run inventory and order supplies.
• Participate in departmental meetings, projects and other needs.
• Handle sales transactions for prescriptions and other merchandise.
