Job summary

MultiCare Health System's Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, WA is hiring an entry-level Pharmacy Assistant. You will support the pharmacy through maintaining supplies, billing and filing, under the direction of the pharmacist.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Assistant license from the Washington State Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum one (1) year of previous work experience in a retail pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will count, pour and label prescriptions as designated by the pharmacist on duty.
• You will run inventory and order supplies.
• You will participate in departmental meetings, projects and other needs.
• You will handle sales transactions for prescriptions and other merchandise.
