Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant for an entry-level role in the Pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacy by maintaining supplies, handling billing and filing, under the supervision of the pharmacist on duty.

Responsibilities include counting, pouring, labeling prescriptions, managing inventory, participating in meetings and handling sales transactions for prescriptions and merchandise. Requires WA Pharmacy Assistant license and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Assistant license from the Washington State Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum one year of previous work experience in a retail pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Count, pour and label prescriptions as designated by the pharmacist on duty.
• Run inventory and order supplies.
• Participate in departmental meetings, projects and other needs.
• Handle sales transactions for prescriptions and other merchandise.
