Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 1 year experience in the discipline OR 3 years’ experience in the discipline OR Master’s Degree and no experience
• Licensed, or eligible for licensure, pharmacist in Iowa
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Staffing inpatient pharmacy by scheduling, hiring, training and supervising staff across main, IV room and satellite sites.
• Ensure medications are prepared and delivered timely, stored securely and properly labeled to support patient care.
• Maintain quality and safety through quality control checks and reporting medication errors and near misses; identify process improvements.
• Assist Clinical Pharmacy Manager with developing policies and procedures as necessary.
