Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with clinical hospital experience required.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 residency or equivalent experience required.
• PGY-2 or equivalent experience preferred for specialty areas.
• One or more years of hospital pharmacy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy staff and coordinate day-to-day operations.
• Ensure compliance with Iowa Board of Pharmacy, FDA, DEA and other accrediting/regulatory agencies.
• Lead training of pharmacists, technicians, pharmacy students and other staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees (Pharmacy and Therapeutics).
• Collaborate with healthcare team on medication therapy management and patient care rounds.
