Job summary

Inland Empire Health Plan seeks a Senior Director, Pharmaceutical Services to lead strategic direction, clinical oversight, and operational execution of IEHP’s pharmacy program for Medi-Cal, DSNP and Exchange.

You will drive utilization management, audit readiness and cost containment, while ensuring compliance with CMS, DHCS, DMHC, NCQA; and oversee PBM performance and provider coordination. This hybrid role is based in Rancho Cucamonga with strong growth in health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years leading pharmacy departments or PBM programs.
• Experience ensuring CMS/DHCS/DMHC/NCQA compliance.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and drive quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise pharmacy strategies across Medi-Cal, Medicare, and Exchange.
• Lead initiatives to improve adherence, outcomes, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure audit readiness and regulatory deliverables.
• Oversee PBM and vendor relationships and contract negotiation.
• Monitor formulary, rebates, and utilization management programs.
• Drive access and affordability initiatives for vulnerable populations.
