Job summary

HomeTown Pharmacy Inc. is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy Services Department. The role focuses on supporting dispensing and billing practices, updating management systems, and delivering exceptional customer service across channels.

The technician will engage with insurers, patients, and providers to obtain information, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance. Travel flexibility is required to fulfill duties across locations.

Qualifications

Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.
Minimum of 2 years pharmacy experience with understanding of workflow, insurance coverage, and billing practices.
Outstanding customer service skills and effective communication.
Attention to detail and strong time management.
Excellent organization and computer skills.
Travel flexibility and availability.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team to meet service goals of the Company.
Respond to telephone, email, and chat inquiries with quick, efficient service.
Provide knowledge through HomeTown's Pharmacy Services helpdesk.
Update pharmacy management systems (RX30, QS1, etc.) for accurate data and optimized opportunities.
Call pharmacies, patients, insurers, and providers for information and clarifications.
