Job summary

Hometown Pharmacy is seeking a Regional Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and teams across multiple locations in a defined region. You will input prescriptions, count and package medications, and help maintain accurate patient profiles.

Responsibilities include inventory management, customer service, and assisting with billing and software systems. Travel to assigned locations within the region is required, with opportunities for hands-on experience and professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year pharmacy experience or technician training preferred.
• Strong customer service and professional communication.
• Knowledge of commonly prescribed medications and brand/generic equivalents.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to assigned locations within region.

Responsibilities

• Input patient data and prescription orders accurately.
• Count, label, and package medications for patients.
• Assist pharmacists with patient profile cleanup.
• Manage inventory: order, stock, and maintain medications and supplies.
• Provide top‑notch customer service in person and by phone.
• Support store operations with cleaning and paperwork.
• Learn third‑party billing and pharmacy software systems.
• Float to assist regional pharmacies as needed.
