Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, plus 600 practical hours in retail and/or pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions and duties of a Pharmacy Service Representative to ensure prompt service.
• Enter prescription information, search patients, prescribers, drugs, and manage insurance billing.
• Process new and refill prescriptions and obtain authorizations where required.
• Retrieve medications, create labels, and place medications into containers per state laws.
• Complete paperwork and input data; assist in keeping the Pharmacy department organized.
• Assist in inventory management, order reviews, returns, restocking, and physical inventory prep.
• Reconstitute oral liquids where permitted by state law.
