Responsibilities

Perform all functions of a Pharmacy Service Representative to ensure prompt service in the Pharmacy Department.
Enter prescription information, including patient and prescriber data, insurance billing and basic problem resolution.
Process new and refill prescriptions, obtain refill authorizations where permitted by state law.
Retrieve medications from inventory and label/dispense prescriptions where permitted by state law.
Complete paperwork and input customer and prescription data into the computer system.
Assist with maintaining the Pharmacy department and inventory management, including restocking shelves and inventory prep.
Reconstitute oral liquids where permitted by state law.
