Qualifications

• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and patient handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions and duties of a Pharmacy Service Representative to ensure prompt service in the Pharmacy Department.
• Enter prescription information, search patients and prescribers, process insurance billing and resolve basic issues.
• Accept and process new and refill prescriptions, retrieve medications, and prepare labels and containers.
• Maintain the Pharmacy department and assist with inventory management and physical inventory preparation.
• Reconstitute oral liquids where permitted by state law.
