Job description

Why FMH

Every day, someone receives a life-changing diagnosis. Getting the right medication should be straightforward - but too often it isn't.

Specialty medications move through a complex network of providers, health plans, pharmacies, and manufacturers. Administrative delays, disconnected systems, and limited visibility can slow treatment when time matters most.

Free Market Health exists to make that process work better.

Our technology connects stakeholders across the specialty pharmacy ecosystem, helping prescriptions reach the right pharmacy while improving visibility, reducing friction, and keeping treatment moving forward for the patients who depend on them. We focus on the most important stakeholder of all: the patient.

Pharmacy Services Lead

Free Market Health is looking for a Pharmacy Services Lead who can bring focus, sound judgment, and a team-first mindset to the day-to-day execution of pharmacy services operations. In this role, you will help monitor daily work, guide workflow adjustments, support team members, and step in as a first point of escalation when complex pharmacy issues or patient concerns arise.

This is a great opportunity for someone with pharmacy services or healthcare operations experience who is ready to take on broader operational responsibility and help the team deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality support.

What You’ll Do
  • Monitor daily pharmacy services work and help ensure assigned tasks are completed by the end of the workday.
  • Partner with Pharmacy Services Leads and Managers to rebalance assignments based on workload and operational priorities.
  • Review assigned reports, identify issues, and coordinate follow-up.
  • Serve as a first escalation point for complex pharmacy issues and patient concerns.
  • Resolve issues within your scope and route cases to specialized teams when additional expertise is needed.
  • Support the training and day-to-day development of Pharmacy Services Specialists.
  • Promote a collaborative, accountable, and service-focused team environment.
What we’re looking for
  • At least 2 year of experience in pharmacy services, healthcare operations, or a related environment.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and the ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • The ability to assess situations, prioritize effectively, and take appropriate action.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, consistent work.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office.
  • A customer-focused approach to supporting patients and internal stakeholders.
Nice to Haves
  • College degree preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare technology environment.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy benefit management (PBM) systems.
  • Experience working across multiple systems and managing competing priorities.
