Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to support the daily operations of the pharmacy, assist customers, stock supplies, handle cash transactions, and help maintain a clean, efficient environment. Strong attention to detail and patient confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months up to 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers with a smile.
• Handle phone inquiries, process refill orders, and assist customers at the counter.
• Gather patient information necessary to prepare prescriptions.
• Stock received products and keep shelves well stocked.
• Review prescriptions not yet picked up and assist with delivery orders as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of patients' private medical information at all times.
• Work as part of the team to ensure customer satisfaction and a positive store environment.
