Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.
• Over six months up to one year of similar or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Answer the telephone promptly and provide helpful service, including taking refill orders.
• Gather patient information required to prepare prescriptions.
• Stock received product and supplies and keep pharmacy stocked.
• Review prescriptions not picked up as directed by the department manager.
• Log invoices and complete cash transactions accurately.
• Prepare paperwork for delivery orders and mail-outs as needed.
• Coordinate nursing home medicines as necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of customers' private medical information.
