Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of a Pharmacy Service Representative to ensure prompt service in the Pharmacy Department.
• Enter prescription information into computer systems, including patient search, prescriber search, drug selection, and insurance billing.
• Accept patient and prescription information required to process new and refill prescriptions and obtain refill authorization where permitted by state law.
• Retrieve medications from inventory as permitted by state law.
• Create prescription labels and place medications into containers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Pharmacy department.
• Assist in inventory management including order review, returns, restocking, and inventory prep.
• Reconstitute oral liquids where permitted by state law.
