Walgreens is seeking an inventory-focused team member to manage store and pharmacy inventory practices, including receiving, counting, pricing, and returns. The role supports asset protection and accurate planograms across both the front end and pharmacy, while ensuring proper use of reports and systems affecting on-hand balances.

The position includes duties such as opening/closing in designated stores, cash handling, and cashier responsibilities to prepare the store for daily operations.

Qualificações

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store (front end and pharmacy).
• Supports pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Champions On-Shelf Availability and validates planograms accuracy.
• Reviews reports and system applications affecting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
• Executes and maintains front end and pharmacy asset protection, and handles claims for overages/shortages/damaged goods including prescriptions.
• In designated stores, opens and closes the store, handles system start-ups, cash handling, and cashier duties.
