Job summary

Walgreens in Billings, MT is seeking an Inventory and Operations Associate to help manage front-end and pharmacy inventory, ensure on-shelf availability, and support pricing and planograms. You will engage with customers, assist in receiving deliveries, and help maintain store standards.

Under the pharmacist-in-charge and store leadership, you will execute inventory procedures, track shipments, perform cycle counts, and assist with store opening/closing and POS tasks.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of retail work.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and execute.
• Experience identifying operational issues and resolving them.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for store and pharmacy.
• Support inventory management: receiving, counting, ordering, returns.
• Ensure on-shelf availability and accurate planograms.
• Open/close store duties when required and handle POS operations.
• Scan deliveries, manage warehouse and vendor inventory processes.
• Verify pharmacy shipments and postings; conduct tote audits.
• Complete On-Shelf Availability end-to-end processes including DSD and recalls.
• Assist with pricing changes and basic department pricing.
• Help with front end and pharmacy ordering; monitor orders.
