How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Optimize patient outcomes by reviewing and validating medication orders to ensure every dose is safe, effective, and tailored to the individual’s clinical needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex medication protocols, acting as the pharmacological expert alongside physicians and nurses to drive high-quality care.
• Empower patients and clinical staff through clear, evidence-based education, ensuring medications are understood and administered with the highest level of confidence.
• Guarantee medication safety by accurately compounding and dispensing therapies for immediate delivery to critical patient care areas.
• Monitor patient journeys by tracking therapy responses and documenting interventions to maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Enrolled OR graduate of an accredited Pharmacy degree program.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD): Must have graduated from an accredited school of pharmacy prior to the residency start date.
• Pharmacist Licensure: Must be eligible for (and successfully obtain) licensure in the state of Kansas within the timeline required by the program.
