Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Regulatory Coordinator to work in the Pharmacy Department. The role involves monthly inspections of medication areas in Surgery Center and provider-based Marshall University offices, assisting in par-level settings, and coordinating medication procurement and storage at sites.

The incumbent will cross-train to assist in various pharmacy areas and perform duties as assigned by the Director/Assistant Director of Pharmacy.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Junior College/Technical School preferred.
WV Board of Pharmacy Registration required.
CPhT National Certification preferred.
Two years of position-related experience required; Pharmacy Technician experience preferred, hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Monthly inspections of all medication preparation and storage areas in Surgery Center and Marshall University physician offices/clinics with provider-based status for Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Assist Director and/or Assistant Director of Pharmacy in setting par levels for medications in these areas.
Coordinate the procurement and delivery of medications to these areas and properly store medications upon delivery.
Cross trained to provide assistance in pharmacy areas as needed.
Carry out other Pharmacy-related duties as assigned.
