Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Regulatory Coordinator to work in the Pharmacy Department. The role involves monthly inspections of medication areas in Surgery Center and provider-based Marshall University offices, assisting in par-level settings, and coordinating medication procurement and storage at sites.

The incumbent will cross-train to assist in various pharmacy areas and perform duties as assigned by the Director/Assistant Director of Pharmacy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Junior College/Technical School preferred.
• WV Board of Pharmacy Registration required.
• CPhT National Certification preferred.
• Two years of position-related experience required; Pharmacy Technician experience preferred, hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monthly inspections of all medication preparation and storage areas in Surgery Center and Marshall University physician offices/clinics with provider-based status for Cabell Huntington Hospital.
• Assist Director and/or Assistant Director of Pharmacy in setting par levels for medications in these areas.
• Coordinate the procurement and delivery of medications to these areas and properly store medications upon delivery.
• Cross trained to provide assistance in pharmacy areas as needed.
• Carry out other Pharmacy-related duties as assigned.
