Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Regulatory Coordinator to work in our Pharmacy Department. The incumbent will perform monthly inspections of medication preparation and storage areas across Surgery Center and Marshall University offices with provider-based status.

They will help set par levels, coordinate procurement and delivery, and ensure proper storage at sites. Cross-training and additional pharmacy duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Two years of position-related experience required.
• Pharmacy technician experience with hospital preference.
• Cross-training to support pharmacy areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly inspections of medication preparation and storage areas.
• Assist Director and/or Assistant Director in setting par levels for medications.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of medications to the sites.
• Properly store medications at sites upon delivery.
• Cross-train to provide assistance in pharmacy areas as needed; perform other duties as assigned.

As well as Pharmacy related duties as otherwise assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Junior College/Technical School preferred.
• WV Board of Pharmacy Registration required.
• CPhT National Certification preferred.
• Twoyears of position- related experience required.
  • Pharmacy Technician experience with preference given to hospital experience.
