Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Inventory Coordinator. This role maintains the drug and supply inventory and delegates related tasks within the hospital pharmacy.

Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will oversee ordering, ensure correct account charges for 340B, WAC and GPO, and set PAR levels in collaboration with the Pyxis Analyst and Assistant Director of Pharmacy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• West Virginia Technician Registration required.
• CPhT (National Technician Certification) required.
• 2 years of position-related experience preferred, including purchasing medications and managing 340B inventory where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hospital pharmacy drug and supply inventory and delegate related tasks.
• Oversee daily ordering and inventory activities for pharmacy staff.
• Ensure purchases charged to correct accounts when splitting orders (WAC, GPO, 340B).
• Set PAR levels for all department medications with Pyxis Analyst and Pharmacy leadership.

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-timePharmacy Inventory Coordinator.

The Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator, maintains the inventory of drugs and delegates the medical/surgical supplies for the Hospital pharmacy areas. This position is accountable for managing the day to day activities of the pharmacy staff that are involved with ordering drugs and delegation of medical/surgical supplies. This position, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, will participate in all activities of the pharmacy department that involve the inventory management of drugs. The position functions in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations. This position is responsible for all medications being purchased on the correct account when the order is split to WAC, GPO and 340B. Additionally, this position is responsible for setting PAR levels of all medications within the department, working with the Pyxis Analyst and Assistant Director of Pharmacy to do so. All registrations and licenses required for this position must be kept current at all times/ renewed prior to expiration.
