Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking an experienced pharmacy professional to manage purchasing, inventory, invoicing, and materials management across hospital and clinic sites. You will coordinate drug procurement, substitutions, recalls, returns, emergency purchasing, and annual inventory reporting, while ensuring contract compliance and drug availability.

The role requires extensive purchasing experience, Pharmacy Technician Certification, and the ability to document transactions electronically.

Qualifications

• 10 years of pharmacy technician experience with extensive purchasing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintains purchasing records of drugs for the hospital and clinics.
• Documents all supply transactions electronically.
• Processes invoices online through the McKesson Supply Management program.
• Approves invoices for payment to Pharmacy Manager.
• Manages drug substitutions, recalls, returns, and emergency purchasing.
• Maintains inventory levels and contract compliance.
• Executes annual inventory procedures and reporting.
