Job summary

Touro Pharmacy invites applications for a 12-month faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice.

Responsibilities include developing an innovative clinical practice in the family medicine clinic at New York Presbyterian, teaching on campus, and participating in department and school committees, research, and scholarly activities.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. required and eligible for New York licensure.
• Post-graduate training (PGY-1 and PGY-2) or fellowship or equivalent clinical experience preferred.
• Board certification in an area related to training (e.g., BPS and BCACP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop an innovative clinical practice in the family medicine clinic and serve as a preceptor for students.
• Provide didactic classroom teaching and recitation on campus.
• Contribute to research through posters, publications, and grants.
• Perform pharmacotherapy education for providers and residents.
• Lead collaborative research efforts with faculty and students.
• Supervise residents and review medication use in the clinic.
