Job summary

Onco360, based in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks a Pharmacy Patient Advocacy Coordinator to help patients access financial resources for cancer medications. The role includes guiding families through nonprofit and manufacturer programs, explaining insurance benefits, and completing applications with care.

The position is full-time in Scottsdale with on-site training followed by possible remote work. It offers a comprehensive benefits package and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for hires starting before Sept 30,

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
• Board of Pharmacy registration as required by state law.
• Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.

Pharmacy Patient Advocacy Coordinator / Patient Assistance Programs - Onco360

Scottsdale, AZ | Full-Time

Mon - Fri 8:30am to 5pm MST in spring/summer, with shift to 9:30am to 6pm MST in fall/winter

Salary Starting at $23.00/hr and up

Sign-On Bonus:

$5,000 for employees starting before September 30, 2026.

Must live within commuting distance of our Houston pharmacy.

Remote work possible after initial on-site training.

What You'll Do

The Patient Advocacy Coordinator is responsible for assisting patients and/or families to access financial resources for Pharmacy co-pays. The Advocacy Coordinator assists patients who may qualify for assistance through Not for Profit Organizations and Manufacturer Programs. They are responsible for navigating the system to find resources that best fits the patient's needs, aid patients by explaining the process, assist in filling out applications and going over the documents that will be required to complete the application.

How You'll Do This

• Practice first call resolution to assist patients and families in securing financial assistance for pharmacy co-pays.


• Maintain a working knowledge of health insurance and pharmacy benefit coverage, cancer diagnoses and drugs used in their treatment.


• Support applications for nonprofit and manufacturer assistance programs.


• Provide clear explanations of insurance benefits and co-pay structures.


• Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance data in CPR+.


• Collaborate with pharmacy operations and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service.

What You Bring

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED


• 1+ years of patient assistance or advocacy experience


• Registration with Board of Pharmacy (as required by state law)


• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills

Preferred:

• Associate degree or Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB)


• 3+ years of patient assistance or advocacy experience


• Specialty pharmacy experience
