Polaris Pharmacy Services in Tampa, FL is seeking an Order Entry Technician to enter prescriptions and refills with speed and accuracy, ensuring courteous service to customers and clear communication with internal teams.

Shift 3:30pm - 12:00am with rotating weekends. You will work in a fast-paced environment, adhere to HIPAA and safety policies, and support ongoing process improvements. A HS diploma and pharmacy tech licensure are required, with at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
• Ability to read and correct prescriptions.
• Proficiency in data entry and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
• Address and respond to customer inquiries and requests.
• Contribute to evaluation and continuous improvement of client services.
• Comply with safety and department policies, and HIPAA regulations.
• Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
• Ensure safety policies are consistently adhered to.
