Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services is seeking an Order Entry Technician to enter prescriptions and refills with speed and accuracy. You will address customer questions, support continuous improvement, and comply with HIPAA and safety policies.

The role requires a High School diploma, state pharmacy technician license, and at least 1 year of experience. Schedule is 3:30pm–12:00am with rotating weekends; benefits are offered for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician license/certification by state required.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
• Address and respond to customer inquiries and requests.
• Contribute to evaluation and continuous improvement of services and procedures.
• Comply with safety, attendance, and dress code policies.
• Follow HIPAA and other government regulations.
• Ensure policies and procedures are consistently followed.
• Other duties as assigned; may vary with business needs.
