Polaris Pharmacy Services of Illinois LLC is seeking an Order Entry Technician to accurately enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system. The role emphasizes speed, accuracy, and courteous responses to customer needs in a busy long-term care setting.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent, state pharmacy tech licensure, at least one year of pharmacy technician experience, and strong data-entry and office software skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
• Experience with alpha-numeric data entry.
• Strong math calculation ability.
• Knowledge of SIG codes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Attention to detail and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
• Address and respond to customer inquiries and requests.
• Contribute to evaluation and continuous improvement of client services.
• Comply with safety policies and all applicable regulations including HIPAA.
• Follow policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
