Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services is seeking an Order Entry Technician to accurately enter new and refilled prescriptions into our pharmacy system. You will respond to customer questions, support continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and government regulations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a pharmacy technician license, at least one year of experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. The role may require extended hours and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy tech licenses/certifications per state.
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably long-term care.
• Proficiency with data entry, medication terminology, and HIPAA/compliance basics.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
• Address and respond to customer inquiries and requests.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of client services and policies.
• Follow safety, attendance, and dress code policies; comply with HIPAA and gov't regulations.
• Other duties as assigned; duties may vary by business needs.
