Job summary
MarinHealth Medical Center seeks a Pharmacy Operations Supervisor to lead a high‑performing hospital pharmacy team within a 320‑bed medical center and Level II Trauma Center. The role focuses on sterile compounding, distribution workflows, and leveraging Epic and automation to support exceptional patient care.
This position partners with physicians, nursing, informatics, and quality leaders to drive safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- PharmD degree and California pharmacist license required.
- ASHP PGY1 and/or PGY2 in health-system pharmacy preferred.
- 3+ years in an acute care hospital pharmacy with leadership experience preferred.
- Experience with automated dispensing systems and regulatory compliance preferred.
Responsibilities
- Designs, oversees, and participates in operational initiatives while optimizing pharmacy workflows.
- Leads and develops pharmacy technicians; manages staffing and scheduling.
- Ensures medication safety and regulatory compliance across inpatient, outpatient, and IV additive areas.
- Collaborates with physicians, nursing, informatics, quality, and operational leaders.
