Qualifications

• Develops, updates, and coordinates training for new personnel in USP 797, USP 800, and all sterile compounding processes and equipment.
• Monitors, assesses, and updates workflows based on the new process, regulations, etc.
• Ensures standardized practices/workflows by observing and refining practice with designated trainers.
• Responsible for oversight of trainee sign-off.

Responsibilities

• Oversees sterile compounding safety and performance/workflows and uses data to assess quality.
• Triages workload and escalates issues to Pharmacy Leadership; adjusts staffing as needed.
• Oversees the management of all pharmacy automation and technology related to the clean room space.
• Maintains and develops policies to establish standard practice expectations for compounding personnel.
• Reports data/metrics to support departmental goals and address safety concerns.
