Job summary

Walgreens in Corinth, TX is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support pharmacists in patient registration, data entry and prescription processing. You will help manage non-clinical tasks, assist with vaccines and health services, and supervise pharmacy technicians under pharmacist guidance.

You will lead workflow, inventory, compliance, and reporting, while ensuring strong customer service and a positive patient experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting preferred.
• Fluent English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with patient care, including registration, prescription data entry and medication preparation.
• Accept responsibility for non-clinical tasks, inventory management, and compliance with policies and laws.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Coordinate pharmacy workflow, schedules and records; ensure accurate reporting to government agencies.
• Support customer service by resolving inquiries and maintaining a positive patient experience.
