Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy and Health System Pharmacy locations).

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities.
• Assist pharmacist in patient care and prescription processing under supervision.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Maintain accurate insurance claim processing and inquiries.
• Assist with inventory management and asset protection while ensuring regulatory compliance.
