Walgreens in Gallatin, TN is hiring a full-time, certified pharmacy technician. Under pharmacist supervision, you will handle non-clinical pharmacy operations, patient registration, data entry, and prescription processing while leading technician training and performance management.

You’ll support vaccines and health services where allowed by law, ensuring a smooth workflow and positive patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• PTCB certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Flexibility to work evenings/weekends and obtain immunization certification within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative tasks.
• Under pharmacist supervision, assist with patient registration, data entry, and prescriptions.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience in a full-time role.
• Support vaccine administration, health screenings, and other allowed services.
