Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision in Berea, OH. You will manage patient data entry, medication preparation, and assist with vaccines and health services within legal guidelines.

You will lead and coach technicians, handle scheduling and performance, and ensure compliance with Walgreens policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
One year of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital.
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacist in delivery of patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting, and verification where allowed by law.
Under pharmacist supervision, perform healthcare service offerings including vaccines and health screenings where allowed by law.
Delegate, direct, and assign non-clinical work to technicians following company policies and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and file reports required by company and government agencies, manage daily pharmacy schedule and inventory.
