Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Mass Registered Pharmacy Tech registration required.
• 1-3 years related work experience required.
• Basic familiarity with computers; able to navigate web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Enters new and refill orders accurately and timely.
• Resolves PBM related billing problems and issues.
• Handle phone inquiries and initial prescription intake.
• Communicate with providers, prescribers, and patients.
• Cross-train in different roles within the facility as needed.
• Answer inbound calls and assist customers with pharmacy-related services; verify information and schedule deliveries.
• Maintain patient profiles and enter new prescriptions into systems.
• Screen and process a high volume of calls with professional communication.
• Assist patients with enrollment in copay assistance programs.
• Support required prior authorization and appeals; manage mail/delivery of Rx orders.
