Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree and/or an advanced degree in pharmacy.
• Three years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
• License in the State of Georgia and in good standing.
• Proven experience in leading and directing the performance of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of pharmacy personnel under the direction of a physician.
• Monitor workload of Pharmacist, Pharmacy techs and Shipping/Receiving Clerks.
• Establish protocols for Pharmacy Department to meet industry standards and insurance requirements.
• Resolve inquiries and concerns regarding intake activities or inter-department interactions.
• Ensure effective customer communication and cross-department coordination.
• Develop training procedures and documentation for new hires and existing staff.
• Perform filling and dispensing of medication orders and proper handling of drugs.
