Job summary

Curant Health Georgia LLC in Smyrna, GA is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to lead daily operations in our home-based medication management program. You will oversee prescription processing, ensure compliance, manage staff, and implement program initiatives.

Required: active Georgia pharmacist license (and other state licenses as needed), 5+ years of pharmacist experience, supervisory background, HIPAA knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a Licensed Pharmacist in the state where work will be conducted.
• Maintain multiple active unrestricted state licenses or be eligible for them.
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmacist experience.
• One year of supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and maintain an active pharmacist license.
• Oversee daily prescription processing and dispensing activities per SOPs.
• Manage pharmacy personnel including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and maintain efficient pharmacy workflows and pursue process improvements.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and oversee medication purchasing.
• Address patient order concerns and provide timely follow-ups.
• Communicate updates with staff in writing and verbally.
• Monitor key operational metrics related to prescription processing.
• Implement new pharmacy programs and initiatives.
• Maintain accreditation standards such as URAC, ACHC, NABP.
• Participate in inspections and ensure adherence to standards.
• Conduct quality audits and implement corrective actions.
