Job summary

KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a pharmacist to uphold the Kinney Standard of Practice, dispensing prescriptions and counseling patients in a fast-paced setting.

The role includes QA to ensure accuracy, adherence to state and federal guidelines, and management of third-party claims. The position also covers inventory control, coordination with Kinney Warehouse and suppliers, and the protection of patient confidentiality while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Dispense prescriptions following Kinney Standard of Practice.
• Adhere to all State and Federal guidelines for pharmacy practice.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate records.
• Manage inventory to ensure stock and turns are optimized.
• Provide excellent customer service and counseling to patients.

Responsibilities

• Follows the Kinney Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions and counsel patients.
• Performs QA steps to ensure technically accurate prescriptions; reports dispensing incidents promptly.
• Complies with State and Federal guidelines governing pharmacy practice.
• Oversees third party claims submission, resubmission, and collection.
• Manages pharmacy inventory and coordinates orders with Kinney Warehouse and suppliers.
• Checks inventory for expirations and processes returns.
• Maintains prescription files and records per guidelines.
• Uses pharmacy technology to maximize ROI and lifespan.
• Ensures excellent customer service and compliance with loss prevention policies.
• Supports marketing/promotional programs and maintains a clean, professional environment.
