Job summary

KPH Healthcare Services Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Department Manager to implement and uphold the Kinney Standard of Practice, ensuring the highest quality health care service. This role oversees dispensing, QA, inventory, third-party claims, and compliance across the pharmacy department.

You will lead staff training, manage budgets, and collaborate with doctors and health professionals to maintain professional service and safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• BS or PharmD degree in Pharmacy.
• Possess and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy.
• Certified immunizer.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions and counsel patients.
• Perform quality assurance steps to ensure accuracy of prescriptions.
• Report dispensing incidents per company guidelines.
• Manage pharmacy inventory to maximize turns while ensuring in-stock availability.
• Oversee third-party claims submission, resubmission and collection.
• Coordinate with Kinney Warehouse and suppliers for orders and returns.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice.
• Train and develop pharmacy staff and manage scheduling and payroll within budget guidelines.

Education

BS or PharmD in Pharmacy
