The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Manager to oversee the statewide Medicaid Pharmacy Benefit program and ensure safe, effective, high-quality patient care. • Requires completion of an accredited five-year College of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy program.
• Current Illinois Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Minimum of three years’ professional experience dispensing drugs and billing in a retail setting.

Responsabilidades

• Organize, plan, evaluate, formulate and execute the Statewide Medicaid Pharmacy Benefit Program.
• Contribute to drug utilization evaluations to inform policies and procedures on department drug coverage.
• Conduct pharmacoeconomic analyses of drugs within a PDL class.
• Serve as working supervisor for pharmacy operations.
• Coordinate with the Department's Web Master to update PDL and prior-approval information.
• Liaise with EDW contract staff to update pharmacy reports and recommend changes.
• Prepare supplemental rebate documents and ensure accurate rebate invoicing.
• Perform other duties within the scope of duties enumerated above.
