Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Peoria, IL, seeks a Pharmacy Operations Manager to oversee the operations of the pharmacy department(s) and ensure policy and performance standards are met. The role leads initiatives to improve medication safety, efficiency, and patient care within the hospital system.

The candidate will collaborate with facility administrators, stakeholders and committees, manage capital, financial and human resources, and drive the pharmacy department's strategic goals and annual plans.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school.
• Pharmacist license and AHA certification.
• 4 years of contemporary health-system pharmacy experience or completion of a PGY2 Pharmacy Administration residency.
• 1 year of informal leadership experience in Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operations of pharmacy department(s) and ensures policy, procedures, performance standards and service expectations are met.
• Collaborates with facility administrators, stakeholders and committees to meet business, regulatory and service requirements.
• Manages capital, financial and human resources of the assigned pharmacy department(s) and implements strategic plans.
