Job summary

Midwest Operating Engineers in Countryside, IL is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Coordinator to support the Pharmacy Manager in administration and day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy Department. You will handle complex member issues, appeals administration, pharmacy operations, analytics, and departmental initiatives.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in pharmacy settings, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with Medicare Part D and pharmacy benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Three to five years of experience in a retail or specialty pharmacy, PBM, health plan, or similar setting.
• Experience with pharmacy benefits, prior authorizations, claims processing, formularies, utilization management, and Medicare Part D.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Handle member calls, participate in events, meet with members as needed.
• Manage inquiries from start to finish with timely follow-up and resolution.
• Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, providers, pharmacies and stakeholders to obtain information.
• Maintain knowledge of Plan Documents, Schedules of Benefits and coverage policies.
• Prepare appeal materials for clinical review and monitor progress to completion.
• Maintain appeal tracking logs and case records with accurate timelines.
• Review EGWP reports and monitor enrollment activity.
• Analyze data and develop reports, dashboards, and summaries for management.
