Qualifications

• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance billing.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, interactions, side effects, and generics.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and dispenses prescribed medications accurately.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and policies, manages staff scheduling and operations.
• Maintains Good Faith Dispensing practices with state and federal laws.
