Job summary

Jefferson Regional Main Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR, seeks a Manager of Pharmacy Operations to oversee inpatient pharmacy operations and the oncology infusion center. The role leads staffing, training, and evaluation, ensuring safe, efficient pharmaceutical services for inpatients.

Ideal candidates hold a PharmD with strong leadership, communication, and operational skills, and licensure with the Arkansas Board of Pharmacy. Oncology experience is a plus; schedule is typically 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required.
Doctoral Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm D) preferred.
Graduate from ACPE-accredited pharmacy college.
Current licensure with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy.
Safety sensitive position.
Strong leadership and management skills; mentor and develop a diverse team.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of pharmacy automation systems, EHR, and medication management software.
3-5 years of experience in health system pharmacy preferred.
Oncology pharmacy practices knowledge: chemotherapy preparation, compounding, and protocols.
Inventory management for oncology medications and supplies.

Responsibilities

Oversees inpatient pharmacy operations including the infusion center.
Leads hiring, training, and evaluation of pharmacy staff.
Maintains high standards of patient care and safety.
Manages operations to ensure efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services to inpatients.
