Job summary

Jefferson Regional Main Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR, is seeking a Manager of Pharmacy Operations for its In-Patient Pharmacy. The role oversees inpatient pharmacy operations and the infusion center, focusing on oncology services and staff leadership.

The position requires a PharmD or equivalent, Arkansas licensure, and strong leadership. A safety-sensitive role with a standard 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. schedule, Monday–Friday, is offered within the Jefferson Regional Pharmacy Department.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy is required.
Doctoral Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.
Graduate from ACPE-accredited program.
Current licensure with Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy.
Safety sensitive position.
Strong leadership and management abilities.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of pharmacy automation systems, EHR, and medication management software.
3–5 years of health system pharmacy experience preferred.
Oncology pharmacyexperience including chemotherapy preparation and handling preferred.
Inventory management experience for oncology medications and supplies preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversees inpatient pharmacy operations including management of outpatient infusion center specializing in oncology.
Participates in hiring, training, and evaluation of pharmacy staff.
Leads in ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
Manages operation and workflow efficiency within the pharmacy department.
