Typical hours are 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, with responsibilities based in the department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Doctoral Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm D) preferred.
• Graduate from an ACPE-recognized pharmacy college.
• Current Licensure with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy required.
• This is a safety sensitive position.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to mentor and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of pharmacy automation systems, EHR, and medication management software

Job Summary

The Manager of Pharmacy Operations oversees inpatient pharmacy operations including management of the outpatient infusion center specializing in oncology. The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services to inpatients, while also actively participating in hiring, training, and evaluation of the pharmacy staff members. This role requires strong leadership skills, operation expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Manager- Pharmacy Operations Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.


• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.


• Doctoral Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm D) preferred.


• Graduate from an accredited pharmacy collage recognized by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE)


• Current Licensure with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy required.
