Job summary

Cencora is seeking an onsite Pharmacy Manager at Reading Hospital in Wyomissing, PA. This full-time role involves supervising pharmacy staff across operations, ensuring compliance with Board standards, and delivering high-quality patient counseling and medication management.

The position requires 2–4 years of related pharmacy experience, a PharmD, and PA pharmacist licensure with injectables authorization. A strong leadership style and proficiency in pharmacy software are essential.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of directly related and progressively responsible pharmacy experience.
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Unrestricted, current Pennsylvania Pharmacist license and injectables license is required.

Responsibilities

• Manages hiring, evaluations, coaching and development of pharmacy team members.
• Maintains compliance with Board of Pharmacy Standards and oversees policies and procedures.
• Procures and dispenses outpatient medications; verifies prescribed medications per standards and legal requirements.
• Counsels patients on medications, dosing, frequency, and interactions; answers questions.
• Collaborates with patients to resolve prescription related concerns and care plans.
• Reviews patient plans for conflicts and ensures quality assurance and record-keeping.
